Fletchers Fabricare

Fletchers has been owned and operated by the same family since 1968. Before that time, the plant, located at the corner of Broadway and Arbutus in Vancouver, was a call office for Nelsons Laundry, a large commercial operation. Once Nelsons was sold, the Broadway and Arbutus location was retained and transformed into a working plant.

Fletchers has always focused on providing the highest possible level of service and quality to our customers. Equipment reflects the latest in cleaning technology, and it is maintained to the highest standards. We are members in good standing of the International Fabricare Institute, Better Business Bureau, Canadian Federation of Independent Business, Chamber of Commerce and the BC Fabricare Association.

Our Staff

Fletchers is fortunate to have a dedicated, skilled and loyal staff of 24 full time employees. Many of our staff have been with Fletchers for more than 10 years, some for as many as 25 years! Our staff are paid more than the industry average, and they have access to medical as well as extended medical and dental plans. Our staff are committed to providing the best possible service to our customers. They receive ongoing training in their area of expertise. In fact, in 2004, our entire staff received training from the Dale Carnegie Group in order to assist them in dealing more effectively with our customers and each other.

Community Support

Fletchers takes a vital interest in the community and supports numerous events, activities and charitable organizations. We are locally owned and operated, and we are pleased to be able to give something back to the community that supports us. Among the organizations we have supported recently are:

* Canadian Cancer Society, Diamond Ball
* BC Paraplegic Association
* Mel and Marty Zajac Foundation
* Jericho Baseball Association (team sponsorship)
* Vancouver Thunderbird Minor Hockey Association
